Meet John

I’m John McNamee, the Social Democrats Local Election Candidate for Edenderry.

I was born and raised in Edenderry and am now raising my family and working locally too. Since 2008 I have volunteered as chairperson for my local soccer club Derry Rovers. My experience has given me an insight into local issues, and I will work hard to make our communities a great place to live for everyone.

I stand for proper funding to support everyone, particularly around mental health, affordable housing, and investment in public services and amenities, including community centres and play areas.
