Eoin is deeply passionate about representing the people of Clondalkin and works hard to make it a great place to live.
As a councillor, his biggest success to date has been advocating for the new bus routes, the L54 and the 60, that now link Clondalkin to the Red Cow Luas Platform, and also provide new connections to Lucan, Palmerstown Woods, and to the Clondalkin Fonthill Train Station.
Growing up, Eoin attended Scoil Chrónáin in Rathcoole and Coláiste Chilliain in Clondalkin and received all his formal education through Irish. In his teens he was active in the Scouts and the GAA. He studied Electronic Engineering at IT Tallaght and UL where he was twice elected Student Union President.
Eoin lived in Sweden for a number of years where he saw the real benefits of Social Democracy and obtained a PhD in Energy Systems Modelling there. He also worked in environmental research in France before returning to Ireland in 2017.
Eoin is on the board of Clondalkin Employment and Educational Services (CEEDS), Clondalkin Drugs and Alcohol Taskforce, Clondalkin Community Radio, Orchard Lodge Community Centre and is one of the organisers of Dolcáins Cellar Open Mic.
My primary goal in politics is delivering change in improved public services, the environment and housing.
